Does Merck Have the Right Tactic For the Stock Market With the Vaccination Drug?

Giant Merck, a major growth stock for 50 years has seen that growth slowing down along with Pfizer and the rest of the major drug companies. One of the best books I’ve read on food and nutrition – good information presented in a comprehensive way –

High-level executives of food companies insisted: "If we don’t make a profit, we don’t exist".

Yes, but how much profit and at whose expense?

They said: "If you object to the way we market foods, you must be against business."

As it happens, I am not against business. But I don have problems with unchecked greed, the use of misleading health claims to sell junk food, and the marketing of foods directly to children. . . .

Seniors Feeling Snubbed from the Government’s Swine Flu Vaccination List

Some senior citizens are complaining that they were left off the vaccination list during last year’s Swine Flu outbreak. Many who are opponents of Obama’s healthcare reform bill say that this is a direct result of the legislation. In July of 2009, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommended these guidelines for those who should first receive the H1N1 flu vaccine:

-Women who are pregnant or nursing

-People who work in healthcare or emergency first response

-Residents in Medicare Hospice

-Children and young adults from 6 months to 24 years

-People with pre-existing medical conditions that are 25 to 64 years of age

Ready for the Forced Vaccination H1N1?

Will the US government attempt a forced H1N1 vaccination of the American population? I’ve heard at least this much: 1) people in the military is being forced to take it, 2) medical employees have been pressured to take it, 3) and many other things…

www.EmploymentCrossing.com Seventy-three health care professionals have lost their jobs with the University of Texas Medical Branch. The layoffs are intended to improve efficiency at the academic medical center. Nurses, pharmacists and even chaplains are joining the unemployment lines. Two departments, pastoral care and senior services, were gutted entirely. Budget cuts will also reduce the facility’s ability to care for indigent patients. University officials cut the jobs in the wake of a million dollar deficit in the hospital’s 2009 budget of .61 billion. “Layoffs are difficult and used as a last resort but are very necessary for business,” according to medical branch CEO Karen Sexton. Two years ago, the Galveston-based university laid off 381 medical employees.
