Why Is Republican Mike Huckabee Capitalizing on Fraud Joe the Plumber in His New Commercial?

Question by jj67: Why is Republican Mike Huckabee Capitalizing on Fraud Joe the Plumber in his new commercial?
FACT: Joe the Plumber admitted that he makes a whole lot less than $ 50,000. So, in fact. Joe the Plumber will not have his taxes increased.

FACT: Joe the Plumber is over 25k In debt, and holds

In Mike Huckabee’s New Commercial for campaigning against healthcare by signing their petition, he has joe the plumber in the backround standing there with a smile on his face and his bald head is glistening. Why would Huckabee Put that liar in his commercial? Joe still aint brought that business McBush Campaigned so hard on defending back in 2008. McBush in the 2008 debate: “Joe, you’re rich, congratulations!” McBush complains that Obama wants to raise the taxes for Joe the Plumber, but Joe the Plumber makes far less than the $ 250,000 that would put him in a higher tax bracket under the Obama plan. Joe the Plumber will actually get a tax cut under Obama’s plan. Priceless! Do Republicans think the general public is unaware of this phony’s current affairs?

Why Do Republican Supporters Keep Sayin, “Its Not Government’s Job to Fix Your Life. You Fix Yourself”?

Question by joe: Why do republican supporters keep sayin, “its not government’s job to fix your life. you fix yourself”?
Whenever any problem of poor or struggling man is raised, the typical response of republican backer, “its your problem. you fix it yourself. its not government’s job to fix your life” If someone has grivenance about what he sees as corporate abuse, repubs say, “its not government’s job to tell businesses how to operate”, if a person cannot get health insurance because of pre-existing conditions they say, “take responsibility. go get job with health insurance instead of relying on government to help you get health insurance”, if someone complains that he can’t find job after finishing college, they say, “you’re too good for mcdonalds?” and so on and so on. Well my response to all this is, “its not my job to vote republican either”. And in fact why should i vote republicans when they take no interest in problems facing the poor and struggling? Government IS supposed to serve the citizens and do whatever it can to help make life better for citizens. This is basic function of government. Since republican supporters say government is not for helping people, why the heck should GOP ever be voted in power? What do they want to be in power for — to start wars like iraq?
independent angered at conservative attitude
i am white male in virginia who is unemployed, buried in debt and unable to get health care. i see republicans as blockers of Obama efforts to help the poor
conservatives often insult the concerns of people like me by saying, “no handout for you”. Well expect no repub vote from me either. It was people like me who made virginia blue in 2008 election
And conservatives say they want to take back the white house? How can they think of taking back white house without showing any concern for the most vulnerable members of society like me?
my condition is so bad i don’t even have money to file chapter 7 bankruptcy. lawyer asked $ 1800 to file chapter 7 bankruptcy protection for me. That price tag in itself is a killer for me.
this also reflects that republicans are all for rich and don’t care for anyone else. Because only the rich and wealthy require nothing from government
jeffry: past 2 years were horrible. things just kept getting worse and worse.

Q&A: Is Olympia Snowe the Only Sane Republican Senator Who Votes Without Politics in Mind?

Question by Anna: Is Olympia Snowe the only sane Republican senator who votes without politics in mind?
Based on her support for the healthcare bill and now the “financial reform”, she seems to be one of the only Republicans who care more about the financial crisis than her political party.

It was a republican representative who added the end of life counseling provision. But it was Sarah Palin that really saw the campaign contribution possibilities by saying “death panels” over and over.

Q&A: Obama Briefly Addressed Republican Ideas in His Address to Congress Hes Back to “Republicans Have No Plan” Why?

Question by snoobling: Obama briefly addressed republican ideas in his address to Congress Hes back to “republicans have no plan” Why?
He has been saying republicans have no plan in the media and in his addresses to the public. He finally admitted Republicans did have plans (the same they have had for years) and now he’s back to lying about it again.

The Obama controlled media is also saying “Republicans have no plan” when they know better. I’ve seen them interview Republicans and have been told about the plans, and given plans on paper, yet those same pundits and anchors go right back to their old dishonest propaganda, that “Republicans are the Party of NO and they have no plan”

NOW I KNOW, FOR SOME REASON, LOL, SOME ARE GOING TO ASK, WHY DIDN’T REPUBLICANS EVER PASS A PLAN WHEN THEY HAD CONGRESS?

Encyclopedia of Republican Assholes: Glenn Reynolds

Glenn Harlan Reynolds, the first entry in this Encyclopedia of Republican Assholes, is a blogger and pundit (Pyjamas Media) whose output largely consists of one to two sentence glib remarks and a staggeringly hypocritical and inconsistent set of “beliefs”. He’s a big supporter of Wall Street and the Pentagon (the two main causes of the US deficit), but blames Obama and ACORN for everything that happened under Dubya. An enthusiastic supporter of Halliburton, Dyncorp, and Blackwater, he believes taxpayers money should be given out like candy to defence contractors, and that the Pentagon should be given even more money to waste. But Glenn also believes it would be wrong to divert that money from greedy war profiteers to helping the poorest and the middle class. Glenn believes that the truly needy, such as Lockheed Martin and Halliburton, should come before destitute children and those unable to afford insane health insurance costs. He is, in short, an asshole.
