Is a Radiologist Required to Be in the Office During an X-Ray, According to Medicare / Medicaid Regulations?

Question by sjbraden: Is a radiologist required to be in the office during an x-ray, according to Medicare / Medicaid regulations?
If a patient is going to be injected with contrast fluid for a radiological exam, is the presence of the physician necessary in the actual office/facility?

I understand that there are three types of supervision (general, direct, and personal) for medical procedures, but I am unsure as to which level is necessary for radiological exams involving the injection of contrast dye.

Bonus points if anyone can post a link!

How Can I Get Back My Money From Fraud Insurance Companies?

medical billing fraud
Dian M asked:

I had been on medicaid but I won my malpractice suit and so I took myself off of all gov. help when I realized that the insurance co that was suppose to help pay my medical expenses was not the real thing I had been cheated out of over $3000. The co. say I never let them know I had canceled when I did and they continue to take my money from my checking account. Now I am without the money and back on medicaid. I have over $12,000 in medical bills and I have paid the biggest part of them out of my pocket. I still owe doctors, hospital and radiologist around $3500. Is there anyone that I can contact about this matter or should I retain a lawyer?
