Don’t Make This $900,000 Mistake With Your Car Insurance Policy

Don’t Make this 0,000 Mistake With Your Car Insurance Policy

The start of the year is a great time to do a check up on your car insurance policy.

Do you understand what your policy does and does not cover? Do you have enough coverage? Do you have enough of the “unobvious” coverage?

Most people understand the concept of buying car insurance to protect their own assets if they carelessly hurt someone else or to get their own car repaired if it is damaged.

But what happens if you are hit and injured by someone who has no insurance at all? Think it can’t happen? Think again.

First, there are some people who simply have let their insurance lapse. In this time of severe economic hardship the car insurance bill is sometimes the bill that doesn’t get paid. Car insurance companies are quick to cancel when you don’t pay.

The Feminine Mistake

The Feminine Mistake

Women are constantly being told that it’s simply too difficult to balance work and family, so if they don’t really “have to” work, it’s better for their families if they stay home. Not only is this untrue, Leslie Bennetts says, but the arguments in favor of stay-at-home motherhood fail to consider the surprising benefits of work and the unexpected toll of giving it up. It’s time, she says, to get the message across — combining work and family really is the best choice for most women, and it’s eminently doable. Bennetts and millions of other working women provide ample proof that there are many different ways to have kids, maintain a challenging career, and have a richly rewarding life as a result. Earning money and being successful not only make women feel great, but when women sacrifice their financial autonomy by quitting their jobs, they become vulnerable to divorce as well as the potential illness, death, or unemployment of their breadwinner husbands. Further, they forfeit the intellectual, emotional, psychological, and even medical benefits of self-sufficiency. The truth is that when women gamble on dependancy, most eventually end up on the wrong side of the odds. In riveting interviews with women from a wide range of backgrounds, Bennetts tells their dramatic stories — some triumphant, others heartbreaking. The Feminine Mistake will inspire women to accept the challenge of figuring out who they are and what they want to do with their lives in addition to raising children. Not since Betty Friedan has anyone offered such an eye-opening and persuasive argument for why women can — and should — embrace the joyously complex lives they deserve.

Are You Guilty of This Common Money Mistake?

This time of year is “Open Enrollment” for most companies benefit plans, as well as Medicare. Most people just leave things ‘as-is’. Do you? If so, this could be costing you thousands of dollars in lost benefits and wasted money.

Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) was on “Your World w/ Neil Cavuto” to discuss the health care solutions being put forth by House Republicans that don’t raise taxes or slash Medicare benefits. (November 2, 2009)

Can I Keep COBRA and Get on New Employer Plan or Did I Make a Huge Mistake?

Question by TK: Can I keep COBRA and get on new employer plan OR did I make a huge mistake?
I had a crummy job with great health care benefits that covered fertility treatments. I left that job and took a great job with crummy health care that doesn’t cover fertility in any way. My plan was to get the new crummy insurance AND purchase COBRA as a secondary insurance for a few months to go through an IVF cycle. This evening I got a letter that says my COBRA will automatically end if “…becomes covered under any other group health plan…” and now I’m worried that this is going to backfire….I tried to call my benefits coordinator but of course they are closed until Monday. I had already started my IVF cycle before changing anything and I am scheduled for surgery next week…..panic setting in….please help….
BTW – I have already made one 2 month payment to COBRA and do not plan on trying to get any type of help to pay the premium.
So is there a loop hole in the COBRA policy? In the fine print under when coverage will end I found “However, if other group health coverage is obtained prior to the COBRA election, COBRA coverage may not be discontinued, even if the other coverage continues after the COBRA election.” I elected my other group plan when I first started the new job and signed up for COBRA when I got the info from work….thoughts???

Why Is the Government “Now” Saying That Health Care Costs Are Going Much Higher? Was It an Honest Mistake?

Question by Demsmierda: Why is the Government “Now” saying that Health Care Costs are going Much Higher? Was it an honest Mistake?
Obama and the Democrats PROMISED that ObamaCare would make Health Care MUCH CHEAPER.

Obama wouldn’t Lie about something that important to America, would He?

Democrats wouldn’t sell out us Working People, would they?

Obama made “DEALS” with Insurance Companies to Protect Us. They even Supported ObamaCare, to help Obama get it passed.
