day three and suspected hospital gunman, cesar dominguez- garcia is still on the loose. but according to his family – he made contact with them today through a letter. now they’re sharing with us what he said. eddie garcia joins us live in the newsroom with the new details. dominguez-garcia’s family showed us a 5 page letter they say he left near their doorstep earlier today. he explains his version of events to the family saying … he was acting in self defense when he fired a shot inside the hospital. he says he showed up to see his two year old child and had a conversation with his girlfriend saying he wanted to break up with her. he says at that point she locked herself in the bathroom and started screaming and hitting herself – when she let him in he says her brother and father heard the commotion and came in after him. he claims the brother pulled a knife on him while the father beat him. he says in order to get away and scare the two off – he drew his weapon and fired one shot in the air. he concludes saying he is saddened to hear what being reported about him and all he wants to do is clear his name and see his chil police are still saying dominguez-garcia struck his girlfriend which started the chain of events. the family says they plan on turning the letter over to investigators

The Main Stream Media And the Void It Leaves Behind

There has been a lot of discussion recently about media bias. Liberals point to the fact that the media has become consolidated among a relatively few big corporations and therefore, has a bias to the right. Conservatives point to the fact that most people in the media, based on surveys, are registered democrats and vote consistently for the democrat candidate, thereby displaying a bias to the left.

In fact, neither of these claims proves media bias. It is ludicrous to say that because the media is consolidated among a few corporations that it is, therefore, biased to the right. Historically, corporations have donated as much to democrat candidates as to republican ones. There are as many democrats who run big corporations as there are republicans.
