Question by TJ: Why do libs blame “corporate greed” for people losing their Healthcare?
When ObamaCare makes it entirely too expensive to pay employee premiums? SOMEBODY has to pay for all these new requirements. 26 year old married “kids” still able to be on mommy and daddy’s insurance, requiring that the insurance companies take pre-existing conditions (which allows people to not buy health insurance until they need it. Then they go buy a policy and the insurance company pays their bill, then coverage is dropped by the customer).
kitty – my wife and I both had meetings about our healthcare at work last week. I work for a state government, and she works for a corporation. BOTH of our insurance policies are being negatively effected, and in BOTH meetings, the new healthcare law is what prompted the change.
Chief – Your first sentence is no argument, because the healthcare industry has been anything BUT free market for several, several years now. The FEDERAL GOVERNMENT won’t let me go to the next state to buy my health insurance plan if I find one better suited for my budget and needs than any I can find in my current state. Why is this?

Health care is a human right. The private health insurance companies do not have our well-being in mind, only their profits. Thousands of Americans have died because of their greed. They are a useless and dangerous (to our health) middleman that must GO! Medical care available to all in America will be a reality with the passage of the Single Payer bill, HR 676, Improved and Expanded Medicare for All. We need to support it and make sure our Congressional Representatives support it!

Question by Sergeant: Why are some Churches so evil with greed?
This is my experience:

* Saved by the blood of Christ in 1983. I enjoyed my Methodist Church.

* I was married in 1985 and my job moved me 600 miles away a year later.

* Went to new Church at the new location, a Holiness Church. It had a fairly large congregation. People uttered in tongues, rolled on the floor etc.

* About a year later my marriage was in serious trouble. The new job didn’t work out very well and we didn’t have any $ $ for marriage counseling.

* Desperate, I went to my pastor and asked if any member of the Church was licensed in marriage counseling.
He began questioning us about why we didn’t fill out the 10% pledge card, and not doing so was an offense against the Church. He explained again that God demands 10% of all my gross earnings if I expect to be blessed.
