Question by Sublime Siren: Will my health insurance cover both my fiance and I in couple’s counseling?
I have Aetna Choice Pos II, and I looked on their website and I found several “marriage/family therapists.” So I’m not sure if it’ll cover both of us, or if there even is an insurance company that will cover him as well… or anything… please serious answers only!

Question by iluvhim83: My fiance` took me to the ER due to some pains I was having in my stomache, it got to the point where I could?
barely walk, sit or lay down. I told the Dr. everything that was wrong and hurting and all he did was touch my stomache a few times then ask me to get off the bed and jump up and down for him. After I jump up and down he says well I know it’s not your appendix. I guess that is how he test for a messed up appendix? Anyhow, he sends me to get x-rays on my tummy. I get back and I hear him tell the nurse “I THINK she’s constipated.” So the nurse comes in, gives me milk of magnesium (whatever it’s called) and tells me like I’m a little girl “You need to poopie, drink this up!” I drink it and they send me home with a diagnose of “Constipation” Well I go home and try everything I can for constipation and nothing works. The next morning at 6am everything is only worse! I went back to the ER, this time to a different one. To make a long story short this whole time I was suffering in pain and I mean screaming and crying pain, it was my appendix and it had ruptured. Would you be pissed?
I’m very upset about this. The Dr. said if the other Dr. would have caught it, my pain wouldn’t be as bad and that inside my stomache was a mess. My appendix was wrapped around one of my intestines! How could the other Dr. not see this??? What would you do, am I making a big deal out of it? I mean I wouldn’t even take a million dollars to feel this way again if someone asked me to. It was the worst experiance ever in my life!
Thank you all for your support. How do I get help from an attorney though, aren’t they expensive? I’m a pretty broke woman these days, is there anywhere to get help?

On friday March 20th it was his birthday and he went out with his friends and drank and partied, the next morning he told me he felt very sick. We thought it was just a hangover, but no matter what he ate or anything it didn’t make him feel better and to me he seemed a bit upset, but we had our friends with us so couldn’t talk.

He does smoke marijuana and drink, but does no other drugs. After he was sick all day, he tried to smoke to make his tummy feel better & it just made him feel worse. After everyone had left he started freaking out and he told me, he’d been feeling paranoid all day that his friend were conspiring against him. I know that medically this would be called delusions.

Question by Stephanie: I suggested couples counseling and my fiance said “I don’t do counseling. What should I do?
We are having major issues and argue a lot. I told him several times we should go to counseling. He said no. Today, I asked again. He threw his arms back behind his head, leaned back in the chair,and said “I don’t do counseling.”
I interpreted this loud and clear as saying “I don’t care. You want to leave me then go.”
Well, how would you interpret that response and what should I do?

You can say anything you want to him in the privacy of your own home. Counseling is a waste of money.
