Is There a Set Dollare Amount for Insurance Fraud, Before Someone Can Be Prosecuted?
My “ex” filed false claims against my health insurance policy, months AFTER she became inelligible to use my insurance. She has filed claims with Physicians and for perscriptions as well. Must the Fraud be of a certain dollar amount before she can be prosecuted??
I need to be more responsible??? Hey guy I turned her in to the insurance company as soon as I heard of what she has been doing. The insurance company said: “It must have been a mistake.”
daisy,
First she TOOK $18,000.00 from me, then she moved on to insurance fraud, while she is sleeping with my brother and trying to talk him into marrying her so she will not be deported (my “ex” wife is here on a Fiance visa). Maybe I have a reason for being angry??
Ex Wife Still Uses His Union Insurance?
Hi! My brother and his ex wife got divorced back in 1999. It was a quick divorce and he now has zero ties to her. He pulled his credit report last month and found that she has been using his Union health insurance for plastic surgery as recent as 2006. There are 4 records on his file that he had me call on to get the patient info and they were all from his exwife. Can he sue her for these? Isnt this insurance fraud and a felony?
If My Ex Uses a Different Name Than She Is Legally Entitled to for Insurance Benefits, Is It “Fraud”?
My ex wife was given her maiden name back by court order during our divorce. Yet, two months after the divorce was finalized, she filed a claim on my Health Insurance using her former “married name” to receive health coverage.
Is this Insurance Fraud??
No insurance coverage was provided for in the divorce decree either.
My Boyfriend Is Being Hit for Insurance Fraud for His Ex-Wife?
My b/f has had his ex-wife on his health insurance for 5 years. He gave his employer 5 years ago the court order to pay child support but his employer never took his ex-wife off the insurance. Now since he’s going to marry me, he’s taken her off and will put me on once we marry. Now his employer is telling him he’s guilty of insurance fraud and if her bills are over 5K they will fire him and convict him of a felony. Can they do this?
