Q&A: Health Care System “ethics” a Form of Communism?
Question by uninstall yourself: health care system “ethics” a form of communism?
lets assume we have person A who cant afford to get a life-saving operation because his insurance coverage ran out and he doesnt have the means. person B goes to the same doctor, and doesnt rely on insurance (but pays rather the entire price himself), and HAS the means to get the life-saving operation. is it or is it not ethical to let person B receive the operation?
reason for asking: hillary clinton wants to create a socialized healthcare plan that would make it illegal for someone to pay for him/herself(except through taxes). im thinking she probably thinks its unethical for one to get more/better treatment than another, even if he/she pays with his/her own money. at the same time, the healthcare plan would choose the doctor he/she must go to for treatment. people like hillary make me consider whether America’s fight with the USSR was in vain or not.
just like Jesse Jackson’s son (Jesse Jackson Jr.) supporting a UN proposal that would give child advocacy groups the right to take legal action against parents who home school or send their kids to private schools on the grounds that they are “depriving their children of the right to government education.”
