This seems very strange to me.

IF they could sell the bill to the public, wouldn’t they have already done it?? They have to pass it THEN sell it……..WTF?? (Sounds like bullsh*t)

So the WH has decided to try to be clever.

Pretend you care about jobs for appx. 2 weeks while people slowly forget about the garbage healthcare bill Democrats drafted last year. THEN offer to have “bipartisan” discussions ABOUT HEALTHCARE REFORM (but use the bills nobody likes as starting points).

I assume the goal here is to try to create similar results to Obama’s visit to the Republican retreat: get some good sound bites of Obama sounding smart and then try to put Republicans on defensive by claiming they simply trying to block “progress” (if that’s what you want to call the No Special Interest Left Behind Democratic healthcare “reform” bill)

I’m pro-health care reform…………but making it mandatory to purchase health care is stupid.

It should be for the consumer to decide what kind of insurance he/she wishes to buy.

It shouldn’t be mandatory to buy things!

I know some of you say “It’s mandatory to buy car insurance”………
the difference is: You buy car insurance IF you choose to drive.
You choosing to drive is what mandates you buying car insurance.

Why should I be mandated to buy health insurance?
I didn’t do anything unhealthy.
You’re gonna force me to buy something just because I’m human?
How about I force you to buy volcano insurance.
How about I force you to buy flood insurance.

Buying insurance should be a consumer’s choice!
and you only have to buy car insurane for the person you hit.
not yourself.

I’mtired of people that condemn Fox because they feel that the media should have 100% bias to the left like Venezuela. They must think they’re Hugo Chavez. It is about 18 million at any one time. Out of that year, there are about 12 million Americans without affordable options. That’s less than 4% of the population. Obama care would cover 94% of Americans. Is there a difference on the number covered? They’re just feeding on the uninformed and using demonization again and dems are masters at it. The press conferences with spin doc props (they even passed out the white coats for them to put on) www.youtube.com , prepackaging questions www.youtube.com and lies online.wsj.com are good examples. Here’s the breakdown of the 47 million: Illegal Immigrants 5.2 million – 11%; Legal Immigrants 5 million – 11%; Individuals Earning more than 000 9 million – 19%; Eligible for Government Programs 9.7 million – 20%; Eligible for Employer-Sponsored Insurance 6 million – 13%; Americans without Affordable …
