Hi, I had many credit cards, medical bills, and utility bills opened in my name and social security number. After these thieves opened the accounts and got what they wanted, they started sending the bills to me! My once good credit is now in shambles. I have filled police reports, called the companies, and contacted the credit bureaus to dispute the items as fraud. BUT, I keep getting the bills, and the credit bureaus are saying that these are “validated” as mine!!! I just want them off my credit report. I have sent out police reports, I have sent all the information that everyone has asked for, and no one is taking anything off my credit report. Please help me, the credit bureaus will no longer let me dispute any of these false items and I’m getting desperate. Thanks
How Are ER Visits Billed?
I had a severe allergic reaction at work a couple of weeks ago and I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. When I left I noticed the paperwork they gave me had an incorrect address (street spelled wrong and city was wrong). I called them up and corrected the mistakes and gave them my insurance info over the phone since I didn’t have it with me in the ER. The woman on the phone said I would get a bill in a week or so. Does this cover the ambulance ride too? I’m worried that somehow I’ve overlooked something and it will end up on my credit report because they couldn’t find me with the wrong address. The ambulance that picked me up was not associated specifically with the hospital I went to. Do I need to make some more phone calls to get this resolved? I have never had anything like this happen to me before.

I Went to the Doctor and They Had Sent Me a Bill When I Had Insurance?
Well, I took it to my insurance company to get it taken care of, and they did. The hospital that had billed me sent it to a collection agency. The case is resolved and closed now because it was a mistake, but it is on my credit report!! How do I get it removed??

Will a Mistake on My Credit Report Be Deleted or Just Marked Paid?
I just recently discovered that a hospital had sent a bill to collections that I was not supposed to pay. Insurance covered it. It has been damaging my credit for 10 months now. I got the documentation from the hospital saying I have a zero balance and that insurance paid it, but when I dispute it will it just be marked paid and continue to hurt me for a few years, or will it be completely deleted from my file? This mistake has cost me over 200 points. I’d like to get them back seeing as this was not my fault.

Do I Owe Money Back for a Overpayment Check That Was Issued to Me Twice?
My wife went in to have a hospital test done. I asked them up front how much it would cost and even though it was a standard procedure they couldn’t tell me. They wanted me to just pay a little and I said I wanted to pay it all up front, so I wrote them a check for $400. A month later I got a check because I overpayed about $30. Then 2 months later I got another check for around the same amount. I had pretty much forgotten about the first check by then and didn’t think anything of it. Now about 4 months later they call me saying I OWE them $30. First off I don’t owe anything. I paid up front and it was their accounting mistake that was the problem, but they are trying to blame me saying they’ll put it on my wife’s credit report and tried to accuse us of calling them to have a duplicate check written. I don’t mind paying any bill that I owe but the fact that they are being accusing and I have to pick up the slack for their mistake and also I ultimately lose out if I don’t pay
