Divorce and Health Insurance?

<BR%20/>Tags: Insurance Fraud, Divorce Support, 8 Years, Insurance, Lawyer <BR%20/>I am finishing off my divorce, have not worked in 8 years, no degreee, need health insurance, i don’t want to ask my lawyer this. If we go through the process of all the divorce proceedings, support splitting assets and agree to that and not sign the final papers so i can stay on his health insurance would that be a bad thing. Or sign the papers and not tell the company we are divorce (i know this is insurance fraud) but he works for a rather large company that really has no process to find this out. Help.

How about the third option. Get off your butt and get a job and get your own health insurance, ya bum.
If you really want him to pay for you to have health insurance then tell your attorney. Do not sign anything until you are satisfied with the agreements. Once you sign, it’s a signed deal. How he handles it with his company is entirely up to him. If he decides to defraud them, they will find out soon enough and hold him accountable.
I am assuning you can not afford insurance yourself. You may want to look into it before you sign those papers. Just ask if you can still receive health benefits, at least for the next thrity days. If you are on speaking terms with your ex, ask him.
Get a job and support yourself. Geezee. Insurance fraud is as wrong as every other fraud, why should he have to pay for you any more than he already is? Your divorcing him, stand on your own two feet for a change.
May I suggest to you Ameri Plan. They do not have any restrictions on pre-existing conditions and you can start saving immediately. There is a hospital advocacy program that assigns you a personal advocate to negotiate with doctors on your medical bills.
The plan also includes savings on dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic care. I’d check them out. I’m so proud to be with them. I know I shouldn’t advertise, but your need sounds great. Let me know if you have any questions.
We are currently running a promotion for just the dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic plan where you can try it out for 3 months for $23 total. This is a great service. You should check it out!
