Is Barack Lying or Was There Fraud Committed?
Barack voted no as an Ill state senator on a bill that would give medical treatment to babies born after botched abortions. He claims that if the bill would have matched the federal bill he would have voted yes. Problem is that both bills are identical in wording. Barack even voted yes to amend the Illinois bill to match the amendment on the federal bill. So is he lying about his vote, or did someone commit fraud and change the bill later? If there was fraud, why is he a Constitutional lawyer not going after the person who committed fraud?

He voted for them to let the baby die since the abortion failed. 45 minutes passed and then the baby died. That to me is a cold heart and equal to those serving prison time for killing another human.

Strange how you anti abortion people say nothing about McCain wanting to prohibit abortions for women who have been raped, as there can be no other conclusion to what he said at the Rick Warren forum.
There are always reasons that a legislator will or will not vote for a bill, for example was it a vote just on that bill or were there other bills attatched that made it impossible to vote for that bill. President Reagan once vetoed a bill to help feed millions of Ethiopians because the congress refused to put the bill up on its own and added millions of dollars in extra spending to the bill. After reading the links you posted I believe he says he would have voted for the bill had there been assurances that it was not a bill to change the state rules on on abortion and since there were not those assurrances he voted no. This doesn’t constitute a lie or anything being slipped into the bill, just that he could not get the assurrances he needed to vote yes.
