You said you it is already $200 in arrears and in collections. That means it   has probably been been cancelled by the credit card company. I can&#039;t find any logic in doing what you are suggesting. Just dispute it. If you have $500 in a savings account, you can convert it into a secured credit card. Most banks can set it up for you.
