Would putting a stop to government employee theft, fraud and abuse be a good start. Another one could be putting an end to fraud and theft by doctors, hospitals, drug companies and health care providers.
What other areas do you think would be an alternative to tax increases.
More government investment in the private sector, non-waste of course.
A universal health care program where coverage in provided by private insurance companies so doctors will accept the card at their offices, rather than the lower class havign to hit upthe ER and cost the tax payer 10X the cost per visit.
Either that, or we could nationalize the energy and fuel industry, and let the revenue replace income tax, and cut all individual and most business taxes to ZERO. Oh but that would be socialism wouldn’t it?
Better privatize water departments, so you can pay $1.50 per gallon of water.
An alternative would be making earmarks illegal. Making lobbyists illegal. Making it illegal for brokers and investment firm to be able to invest in the stock market so there is no conflict of interest. This way they are working for us and not for them. Reform medical insurance so that is pays 100 %. That the doctors and hospitals must accept that amount and not force patients to pay.
And of course budget the national debt, pay it off and tell Congress and House of Rep.. this is our budget and that’s it. You can’t go over there is no more money.
