I've never heard of an insurance company turning someone down for being overweight, but then again I live in Canada. Do you need it for a certain reason? Until you can get coverage I recommend saving money every month that would otherwise go to insurance payments, in the case that something does go wrong in the meantime (I hope that it doesn't).
