How Can I Get Back My Money From Fraud Insurance Companies?
I had been on medicaid but I won my malpractice suit and so I took myself off of all gov. help when I realized that the insurance co that was suppose to help pay my medical expenses was not the real thing I had been cheated out of over $3000. The co. say I never let them know I had canceled when I did and they continue to take my money from my checking account. Now I am without the money and back on medicaid. I have over $12,000 in medical bills and I have paid the biggest part of them out of my pocket. I still owe doctors, hospital and radiologist around $3500. Is there anyone that I can contact about this matter or should I retain a lawyer?

uh i would start with the better business bureau and then a lawyer
Yes…
But its hard sometimes to find a good one.
They would have to file a claim in state circuit court.
sometimes personal injury or workers comp attorneys can be helpful. Most likely personal injury though.
Some states have arbitration for insurance claims.
Or for that amount you can file a small claims case yourself. Or try a general pratice attorney, to at least file it in court.
And try your state deptment of insurance to file a complaint or fed dept of labor for gov emp. fed protected
ins benefits.
