Yes, but they will never get tired of taking it.
I’m more tired of cynical people
What exactly are you asking? Seems like you’re just soap boxing.
Unless you are rich, you could very well need help paying your medical bills one day, so, no , I do not get tired of helping others.
You left out the oil, real estate, mortgage, and commodities speculators who have driven the price of gas, diesel, homes, and food through the ceiling in the name of a fast buck; and who destroyed our ability to get a loan to buy a now reasonably priced home now that the prices have all come crashing down.
And … you forgot to blame Congress for passing a half-baked plan to cover medication, which effectively made us cash customers compete with the government to buy medication, which is now 30 percent more because why should they sell it to us cheaper if Uncle Sam will pay more?
I agree with you 1000%
The children born in the year 9595 will still be paying for the mistakes of this administration.
I do, thats why I dont vote for “parties” anymore. I grew up and started using the mind God gave me and I choose candidates acording to what they are and are not.
Thats why this year I will vote Mccain and Palin.
I did vote for bill clinton twice. I read obamas books. That was enough for me.
book one, “I decided to dismiss my mothers race and chose to be black”
book two.. chapter 4…
“I found that using race as an issue could be very persuasive in politics, persuasive enough to take one right into the whitehouse.
book one…
“My real dream was to go down in history books as the first black man to be president of the united states.”
see, everything obama does is for himself.
each and everything he has done in life has been a stepladder to be where he is right now.
each and every bit of legislation obama did turn into congress was Edward Jones.
Jones retired this year and said he was the one who did all the work and handed the bills to obama to help him up his ladder.
Jones said he has done this with a couple people.
nothing about obama is original.
from his plagiarized speeches to his ever changing stance in issues.
He even now says his immigration pln was taken from mccains!
Makes me glad to be Canadian – except we’re having an election too and our choices are all lame.
The answer is removing the profit motive from health care. Right now, it’s more profitable to have sick people. With universal healthcare like we have in Canada the emphasis is on getting and keeping people healthy, and making sure they are properly cared for if they do get sick regardless of their financial status. But don’t kid yourself – it’s not free. We pay tax plus a monthly fee for our medical care. But it’s still usually less than Americans pay for similar care – and a lot less than you would pay if you had no insurance.
But even in the US system…what if one day you get cancer? Do you think that will be a mistake or is it only a mistake when someone else gets sick? Won’t you be glad you had paid for your insurance at that point?
Well, our government assisted in the $20 billion bailout of Bear Stearns, it’s probably going to let China buy Lehman Brothers, it spent about $300 billion bailing out the savings and loan industry, it’s about to spend something in the neighborhood of $500 billion bailing out the banking industry (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac might lose $20-30 billion per year for the next 4 or 5 years, for instance). Bailouts for Ford and GM are just over the horizon. And that’s just in the last few years. Meanwhile, former Senate Majority leader Bill Frist’s brother’s company, Humana, went from a little business with assets of $250,000 to a $27 Billion dollar health care giant in just 35 years. It bilked the medicare system for billions in unnecessary tests, but just got a slap on the wrist. It didn’t treat people with congestive heart failure who were insured by its own insurance, because it was cheaper if they died. It had to pay a penalty of less than the premiums that it collected.
If you want to make a rant about government excesses, rant about its charity to the corporations that overcharge us, take risks that they shouldn’t and then get the government to pay for their mistakes and even their criminal behavior.
YES!! I’m actually becoming a Hillary supporter! I wish she was picked for Obama’s VP…!
